Jill is a tiny little girl who was sick when we took her in, but she's feeling much better now that we've figured out the type of diet she needs.  It isn't anything fancy.  You can buy it in any pet store, but it makes all the difference in the world to Jill, and we want to keep her healthy!

Jill is a snuggle bug, who has come a long ways since coming into rescue.  She sleeps in the big bed every night and never moves.  Jill is just in heaven when she goes to bed, and she has no intention of giving up her spot until we are forced to get up in the morning!

She is such a happy dachsie!  Jill runs in circles when she is excited and her little tail wags all the time!  She absolutely LOVES to be held, and she will follow you everywhere - just waiting for you to sit down somewhere so she can jump up and snuggle in!

Jill can be a little floozy if you put a dress on her - letting the sleeves roll down her legs and trying to shimmy out of it, but she is such a sweetheart.  It really is part of her charm.  =)

She gets along well with the other dachsies - running and playing throughout the house, but when it comes to the two-legged folks, she much prefers the ladies.  I wish Jill could tell us why that is, and I guess to be fair, she really DOES tell us - quite vocally and very adamantly each time a male is near - but we're a little sketchy on the details!
