Nacho is a recent commercial breeder release boy. He is still very skiddish and timid. He has never been in a home setting prior to coming to Dakota Dachshund Rescue. He is just starting his house training. Hi! My name is Nacho. I'm a very timid boy, I came from a commercial breeding facility. I am slowly but surely making progress every day to become a family pet that does normal dog things :) I am learning to be playful with other chihuahuas. I am terrified of steps/stairs and will not jump up or down on furniture, which is probably good because I have luxating patella in my back legs. Small children could fall on me and injure my back legs so a home with no children is a must. I do not walk on a leash, I must have a fenced yard as I am very skiddish and timid and would run. Do you have a heart full of love and patience for a little guy like me?
