⭐️ FUR-STER SPOTLIGHT ⭐️
        Mr. Howard

⏰️ Age: 5 years 7 months (best guess)
I'm a long haired dachshund - I'm super handsome if I do say so myself
⚖️ Weight: 12 pounds
⏳️ I've been in rescue about 3 months.
⚠️ I need a fenced in yard.
Little hoomans?? Absolutely NOT!!  I have past trauma that prevents me from enjoying them. I do okay with VERY short hellos in passing, but I cannot live with them.
So, after that giant bomb , let's keep filling you in about ME
Well... let me explain. I REALLY like little dogs!! However, big dogs, no, thanks! So, if you have a SMALL pup for me to pal around with, I'd be forever grateful!
I'm not fond of my kennel either I'll go in it (obviously ) but I don't really like it and I will n.o.t. eat in it (Weirdos, who eats in their kennel? )
Annnndd... if you leave me out of my kennel while you're away, I am destructive - furniture is my go to chew toy. Have you tried furniture before? Bon appetite! So, a relationship with a kennel is inevitable.. It's just SO HARD!
I have a high pitched bark if I don't want you to leave or walk away from me. It does take me a bit to get adjusted to a new environment.
Medical needs: I need an anxiety chew 2x a day (Oh, come on, you all have a little bit of anxiety in your lives, too ) Thunder Wunders is the only chew my foster mom has found that I will eat.
I am not food motivated and a picky eater. I need you to be close to me while I eat.
Man alive, who in the heck is writing this for me? This resume isn't looking so hot! ‍♂️
Come on, let's get to the good stuff!
‍ Men? ✔️ YES! ‍ Women? ✔️ YES!
I walk well on a leash and harness.... It's more like a run vs a walk I mean, as quick as my short little legs will allow me to move!
I love toys and JUST the RIGHT treats!!
‍♂️ I'm a busy body! I'm full of energy!
I'm killin' it! Geez oh petes! Not literally! I like kitty-cats!
Don't forget.. small dogs, small dogs!!
‍♂️ I NEED a strong, confident pack leader!
I'm extremely cuddly and loving, once I settle in.
I am potty trained
✅️ I'm neutered and ready to go!

I would love to have a human home most of the time.
If you can get past all my little 'quirks'... I'm a very loving ❤️, loyal , devoted , silly dog!

Do I sound like your perfect match? I PROMISE I'm worth it! Click the link below and fill out an application!

Please share my post!! YOU may know someone who is looking to add ME to their family!
