Winnie update: Winnie is doing amazing! She has one more DHPPL vaccinations and her spay on Dec 28. She is growing like a weed now that she is healthy. She has longer legs than a dachshund, we are guessing perhaps she is mixed with mini Australian shepherd because of her high energy level. She goes and goes and goes. She loves to play. She loves being outside with us, she is very much a doordasher to get outside.
A fenced yard is a must for her.



Winnie is doing much better! Her quarantine period is done now she has to get the rest of her vaccinations and be spay. Winnie is loving her freedom and loves running in her foster mom's fenced yard. She does not come when called, she loves to playfully run from us. She will be available for adoption once Dr Paul clears her for surgery and we can get her spay.


Hi! I'm Winnie! I came to Dakota Dachshund Rescue because I was very sick with parvo and needed to be hospitalized. I was in the hospital for 5 days and then moved to my foster home to quarantine. I am feeling much better, I just can't be around other dogs until I am no longer shedding the virus so I am still quarantined for another couple of weeks I have started my vaccinations, will get my next DHPPL Nov 20th and my rabies two weeks after that. Hopefully Dr Paul will clear me for my spay then also. I am 5 months old, I weigh 10 pounds, my adoption fee is $600 plus sales tax $27=$627

 My adoption fee helps cover all of my vetting needs such as HW test, rabies, DHPPL, Bordetella, spay and dental.
